Read the city through the choices built into its shared places.

Urban Civic Briefing

Partnerships

Urban Civic Briefing considers collaborations connected to public design and urban places, provided their purpose and presentation are clear to readers.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly scoped editorial projects, useful reference material and relevant partner placements that sit naturally alongside our coverage of streets, civic buildings, wayfinding, amenities and materials. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, proposed format and any commercial relationship.

Clear labelling

Paid, sponsored or partner content and placements are labelled plainly wherever they appear. Commercial partners do not determine independent editorial conclusions, and a placement does not mean the publication endorses a product, service or claim.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page and select Partnership as the reason for writing. Include the proposed collaboration, who is involved, any requested placement and the relationship behind it. We review fit and transparency before agreeing to anything.

Our point of view

Design is part of public life

A place is easier to understand when its choices are visible. We look closely at form, use and the details between them.
